Our standards

Every surface of Ready for Solo — the questions, the radio scenarios, the blog — is written under the same rules. This page is those rules.

Who writes this

Working Canadian airline pilots and flight instructors write and review everything we publish. The brand stays nameless on purpose — the credential is collective, and the receipts below matter more than any one name. Articles carry the Ready for Solo Standards Team byline; named authors may join as the team grows.

Sourced, then checked

Every claim is written against the primary source — TC AIM 2026-1, the CARs, NAV CANADA phraseology (April 2022), TP 11919E — and cited to the page. Facts are machine-checked against those sources, then pilot-reviewed before they ship. Dated when published, corrected when the source changes.

What we never claim

No “guaranteed pass.” No “best” or “fastest.” No Transport Canada endorsement — we are aligned with the Transport Canada syllabus and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Transport Canada. Our AI ATC voices are AI-generated, and we say so. We supplement your instructor and your ground school; we replace neither.
