After landing from a VFR flight for which a flight plan has been filed, the pilot shall report the arrival to the appropriate ATS unit within
Why this is the answer
Per CAR 602.77 (Arrival Report), where no SAR initiation time is specified in a VFR flight plan, the pilot must file the arrival report no later than 60 minutes after the last reported ETA. Failing to close it triggers a search-and-rescue response.
