The term “EST” in the End Time in a new or replacing NOTAM means the NOTAM is valid

  1. Afor an estimated 24 hours.
  2. Bfor an estimated 48 hours.
  3. Cuntil the time quoted in the NOTAM.
  4. Duntil a cancelling (NOTAMC) or replacing (NOTAMR) is issued.Correct answer

Why this is the answer

Per the TC AIM, “EST” on a NOTAM end time means the time is only estimated, so the NOTAM stays valid until a cancelling (NOTAMC) or replacing (NOTAMR) NOTAM is issued — it does not expire on its own.
