When overtaking an aircraft at your 12 o’clock position, at your altitude, you should

  1. Aclimb.
  2. Bdescend.
  3. Calter heading to the right.Correct answer

Why this is the answer

Per CAR 602.19(6), the overtaking aircraft must give way by altering heading to the right — whether climbing, descending or level — until well clear. The aircraft being overtaken keeps the right of way.
