A pilot, after accepting a clearance and subsequently finding that all or part of the clearance cannot be complied with, should

  1. Adisregard the clearance.
  2. Bcomply with only the part that is suitable.
  3. Ccomply as best as possible under the circumstances to carry out the clearance and need not say anything to ATC.
  4. Dcomply as best as possible under the circumstances and advise ATC as soon as possible.Correct answer

Why this is the answer

Per CAR 602.31, the PIC remains responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft. If a clearance can't be fully complied with, do the best you safely can under the circumstances and tell ATC as soon as possible so they can re-plan separation — never just stay silent.
